Archive for February, 2011

If you’re a regular reader of this blog, you’ll know that I’ve mentioned the AutoBlog Blueprint in several posts. It is, I believe, the most thorough course on blogging available and covers all aspects of setting up an automated blog from keyword research to webhosting, free and commercial plugins to use and the all-important backlinking strategy for sites.

It’s the philosophy I follow for building blogs that I can’t personally maintain in a day-to-day basis, like those I have for sale on the Domains & Blogs For Sale page and other blogs I’m building purely for myself. There are only so many hours in a day after all.

Version 2 of the AutoBlog Blueprint closed to new members a couple of months ago. Now, it’s being relaunched for the 2011 SEO market as Version 3, with added course material and bang-up-to-date marketing and promotion strategies.

When it launches on February 9th, membership will cost $97. That’s a one-time payment, not a monthly fee! However, if you join through this exclusive link:

…you’ll be able to save $30 and get in for $67 instead.

I do endorse this course because I use it. It’s not a static course either. Mike Johnson is constantly updating the information and techniques in it and it’s become an invaluable resource for me, especially the section on getting backlinks which can be applied to any site, not just blogs.

A couple of weeks ago I used up all the checks in my checkbook, so I put in an online request with my bank for a replacement book to be sent out to me. Yesterday, I had to pay my credit card bill. I normally pay this monthly bill by check but, by yesterday, the latest day I could pay in the bank branch, my replacement checkbook still hadn’t arrived.

My current account and credit card are with two different banks which happen to have branches just a couple of doors away from each other. So I went to ATM of the bank that has my current account and withdrew the money to cover the payment for my credit card, walked up the road and into the bank that provides my credit card.

As luck would have it, there were 5 people ahead of me each taking an average of 8 minutes to do their transactions. So, 40 minutes later I get to the desk hand over the bill and announce:

“Hi, I’m paying off my credit card bill…”

…and, as I pull the cash from my pocket, the teller responds:

I’m Selling Domain Names And Blogs

I’ve added a new page to this site called Domain Names & Blogs For Sale where I’ll be selling aged domain names and pre-built WordPress blogs. Stats for each (PageRank, Alexa traffic, pages indexed and no of backlinks) are available from the page.

If there’s a niche or topic you’d be interested in seeing a blog created for, drop me an email. I can’t promise that I have the content available to build such a blog but there’s a good chance that I do.

Check the page fairly frequently (about once a week) to see what new domains and/or blogs are on offer.
