Hi Glyn,

Nothing is as easy as it seems! The majority of my autoblogs are still climbing in the search engine rankings though some have dropped (I haven't done enough backlinking to them). I've used the Auto Content Cash system (a couple of nice usable plugins with that) and Auto Blog Blueprint (cheap and excellent course) and I use Wordpress Mage to build the autoblogs. Nothing wrong with the software but it seems with WP 2.9's greater resource usage, the standard shared hosting webservers aren't powerful enough to do the job.

Hey Gary,

You seem to be having a hard time with the autoblogs.

I tend to say away from them but I do have one up that is being run at the moment. This blog seems to be falling in googles eyes and what I think is that there is to much content coming on to the blog each day. I has had a jump way down the alexa rank.

Bill McRea has some great info on this subject if you have heard of marketing on the fringe it my be worth having a look

Hi Gary,

Thanks for this post. A light bulb moment for me, indeed.

I have a couple of review sites and as I am coding-phobe I simply went in and checked them regularly for non-published autoblogs, then published manually those that hadn't gone out. Obviously, I am on Hostgator. At least now I know.

I guess there is no way around it for me until the approach generates sufficient income to follow the route you took with VPS.

Looking forward to hearing from re creating videos. I left you a PM on the MWA forum.

Hey Gary,

Awesome post man! I run CP Mage on a few sites and I'm completely "tech" stupid when it comes to figuring these things out. This is awesome for people who may be running into the same problem

Hi Sally,

I found a solution by moving to LiquidWeb but the Missed Schedule problem is still afflicting my autoblogs at Hostgator and Webhost4SEO. The folks at Webhost4SEO have been proactive in trying to find a solution, but nothing's worked on their server yet. Hostgator basically said their webserver wasn't up to the job - end of story with them! So I guess one lesson learned is don't used Hostgator shared hosting for autoblogs.

Hey Gary, I hate coding! It's something I am not comfortable with at all, and hostgator can be less than helpful at times, at least you got it sorted in the end and hopefully it's plain sailing from now on in, Sally :)
