I tried to go to your page to sign up for Vidnami but it went to a dead page and suggestions?
Yeah, unfortunately Vidnami is no more, Ken. The owners were bought out by GoDaddy and closed Vidnami down on August 20th – there’s more on that story here.
It’s a real shame as it was simple to use and produced great results. The former owners claim that with GoDaddy’s resources they’ll be able to do a lot more with video technology but I’ll never buy anything from GoDaddy again (for a variety of reasons I won’t go into here).
They price gouge on their domains – they hook you with a low introductory price and then charge over-inflated prices for renewal fees.
I expect the same kind of marketing tactics to be used if any video product emerges from the ashes of Vidnami.
In the meantime, Instant Video Wizard is the nearest equivalent service at a similar price point.Update: December 13, 2024: It appears that Instant Video Wizard has now closed down, probably due to the competition from AI video services. The two such services I now recommend are Pictory and InVideoAI (the links take you to my bonus pages for each).
All the best,
Gary
Hi Gary
Years ago I bought a product from you called Clickbank Elite. I still have the serial number lol! Is it completely dead? I am starting a new business and thinking of using certain Clickbank products and thought it would be useful again. What’s up with that?
Thanks,
– John
Hi John, yeah Clickbank Elite is long dead. It died when Clickbank introduced their own Hoplink ads that anyone could set up for free.
Hoplink ads have since been put out to pasture as well, back in 2012 to be precise. There was a service called CBPro Ads that did what HopAds did and more, including creating complete stores of Clickbank products. But that too is now defunct.
ClickBank discontinued support for their Marketplace XML Feed functionality in March 2022, which is what Clickbank Elite used to use as the data source for ads.
So, as far as I’m aware, there is no way to currently implement a service or tool like Clickbank Elite, or its successors.
I know that Clickbank did introduce their own API for access to their info but it doesn’t appear (at first glance) to provide access to as much info as the former XML file did.
If it’s of any use, WarriorPlus (a Clickbank competitor) do have their own ad widget. It’s buried in the menus, so to get to it, click on your username at the top right of the screen and go to “My Account”. At the bottom of the “Vendors/Affiliates” column on that page, click on the “Affiliate Ad Widget” option. You can then set up your ad widget. Copy & paste the code to wherever you want it to appear.
All the best,
Gary
