The Facebook Feature You’ve Never Heard Of

Have you heard of Facebook’s ‘Instant Articles’?

No?

Neither had I, until I came across a article talking about how Hootsuite (a social media management service) had been using a new update in Facebook to produce results like these:

  • a 37% increase in reach
  • a 22% increase in shares
  • an 83% increase in Likes
  • a 57% increase in link clicks

Those figures got me interested and after doing a bit more research I found Facebook is using the Instant Articles feature to get the attention of as many businesses as possible because they want traffic to stay on Facebook, naturally.

What this means for you is if you can use Instant Articles it’s very likely Facebook will favour your content by giving it more exposure.

So…What Is An Instant Article?

An Instant Article is an article that’s published to your Facebook page.

So only people logged onto Facebook can access it and they see that article on a Mobile Device instantly…no waiting around for the article to load.

Like it or loathe it, you can’t afford to ignore Facebook if you’re a marketer, be that an affiliate marketer or you run an online business. Almost half of those online today use Facebook. That’s some serious potential exposure your offerings and promotions could reach.

Right now, half of all Facebook’s 1.5 Billion users use it on their mobile phone.

This means that it’s important that content on mobile devices loads fast so people don’t have to wait around for a webpage to load.

Why Instant Articles is a game changer
Instant Articles means that people can load the article INSTANTLY and read it right away without having to wait for another website to load.

For Facebook, the benefit is that they keep traffic on Facebook.

The benefit for you is that they favour faster loading content.

Instant Articles also have their own search directory and you can even generate leads or drive clicks from within your article to wherever you want.

This is a powerful feature Facebook has now allowed us to use.

Intrigued?

How do you create an Instant Article?

Right, there’s a problem.

Facebook Instant Articles is very hard to use unless you are a developer or have a development team.

Hootsuite themselves even recently came out and said this:

Getting our dev team involved in setup was critical for us as the process required access to the backend of the website and some coding expertise

Don’t worry though because now there is a solution.

This is the first software to make “Instant Articles” easy for everyone to use.

With Bolt Publisher you can now create and post articles to Facebook effortlessly.

The articles are going to look great and you can edit them to look how you want within the Bolt Publisher drag n drop interface. Add auto-playing videos and images (which auto-sizer to fit the devices they’re displayed on). The articles actually appear on your Facebook page (or pages) rather than in some other area of Facebook. They are different to long-form posts you can already add to your pages. They have a different structure and are served up faster than regular posts.

If you want to benefit from more Facebook traffic, more leads and more sales then…

In order to use Instant Articles, you normally have to publish your article online outside of Facebook first, and then essentially import that into Instant Articles. Bolt Publisher is the only option available that takes away that requirement to publish content outside of Facebook first. With it, you can post Instant Articles directly into Facebook. This means you could dispense with any blogs you normally publish on and use Facebook as your sole publishing platform.

Personally, I’ll still be publishing articles here on this blog and on my other blogs. I’ll then publish the articles to Instant Articles with a link back to the original blog post so I can get visitors from both inside and outside of Facebook.

Bolt Publisher Options

Go to the sales page, watch the videos and read the product description to get a better idea of what this product can do. It’s worth your time. BTW, there is a 30-day no-questions-asked money-back guarantee.

There are three options on offer:

  • Personal License: publish up to 10 Instant Articles to 1 Facebook page per month. $27 one-time fee
  • Multi License: publish up to 30 Instant Articles per month to 3 Facebook pages. $32.50 one-time fee
  • Unlimited License: publish an unlimited number of Instant Articles to an unlimited number of Facebook pages (on your own Facebook account). $39.95 one-time fee.

Because of the flexibility of this option, this is the one I recommend buying.

My Bonus: Buy this option through any of my links on this page and I’ll give you a Facebook Marketing video tutorial course as a bonus.

Upsells

Everything has an upsell these days. Not all of them are worth the expense but many are. These are Bolt Publishers upsells and what I think of them:

OTO 1 – Bolt Publisher PRO Personal License – $67 One-Time fee

Bolt Publisher Pro

This adds a couple of extra features into the software.

First, with this addon, you’re able to put optin forms into your Instant Articles so you can use Facebook to get leads and subscribers and build your mailing list.

Second, you can also publish your articles to Apple News. This is a feature very much like Instant Articles that Apple have created users of its mobile devices. This gives you another 800 million people you can potentially target with your offers.

Recommendation: Buy this upsell for the additional benefits it brings.

My Bonus: If you order this upsell, then I’ll give you a Platinum Membership in my Niche Site Institute affiliate marketing training membership site (regular fee: $37/mth).

OTO 2 – Rebrandable Consultant License – $197 One-Time fee

Bolt Publisher Client EditionThe standard personal license only allows you hook up the software to one Facebook account (presumably your own). So you can only post to Facebook pages you personally own. The Rebrandable Consultant License allows you to rebrand Bolt Hosting with your own brand and to sell the service to other people (e.g. business clients). Training and support material to get clients is also provided.

Recommendation: If you’ve no interest in offering the Bolt Publisher service to clients as a rebranded business you own, then you do not need this upsell. If you see the business opportunities this upsell offers, then it’s certainly worth considering.

OTO 3 – Outsourcing License – $47 One-Time fee

This allows you to create up to 5 additional accounts in your Bolt Publisher software so that outsourcers can use the system to post on your behalf. Unless you intend to do a huge amount of posting of Instant Articles in your own account and you want to spread the workload among some outsourcers, this upsell is really only useful for those who also pick up OTO 2, the Rebrandable Consultant License.

Recommendation: You don’t need it unless you also buy the Rebrandable Consultant License and even then, have a think about whether you really need to use outsourcers.

Final Thoughts

This is a product I did jump on. I bought the Unlimited License version of the software and OTO 1, the PRO Personal License. I’m debating whether to buy the Rebrandable Consultant License or not. There’s real possibilities in being able to sell a service there to local on other online businesses. But I want to play with the software a bit more before I make a final decision on that OTO (I kept the OTO sales page open in my browser so I could go back to it if needed).

There’s a countdown timer on the sales page which says that the price of the software and presumably its upsells will increase at midnight EST tonight (Oct. 26, 2016). I don’t know if that’ll be a small incremental increase (like in a dimesale) or if there’ll be a bigger price increase.

I’ll publish a detailed review of Bolt Publisher in the next day or so.

All the best,

Gary Nugent
