One of the programs I’ve been telling people about a lot recently is Bitty Cash.
I’ve been involved with Bitcoin since 2014, but most people either know nothing about the cryptocurrency or have no idea how to buy it or acquire it.
That’s what Bitty Cash offers – training on Bitcoin and ways to buy it.
It also includes a network marketing component for those who are internet/affiliate marketers to make Bitcoin from the program.
It’s free to join but to earn commissions from the program, you have to become a confirmed member – that means verifying your email address, mobile phone number and Facebook account.
If that’s not possible (e.g. you don’t have a mobile phone and/or Facebook account) you can still get verified by paying a $10 admin fee.
You’re paid $1 worth of Bitcoin for each confirmed member you refer.
There’s also a paid upgrade path that opens up other earning opportunities, including the ability to refer your referrals to additional Bitcoin programs recommended by Bitty Cash (you replace their affiliate link with your own) and you can also promote your own recommended programs.
It’s this aspect that I’ll be looking at in this post.
Major Issue With Bitty Cash Encountered
Almost 2 weeks ago now, I discovered that the Multiply Your Bitcoins and Add Your Links pages on the site were not loading correctly. This is what I see when I open the Multiply Your Bitcoins page:

There should be content on the page. Clicking the tabs doesn’t do anything either. The page doesn’t fully load and, in fact, hangs in my browser. The bug then affects other pages on the site which don’t then load either.
Bitty Cash doesn’t provide direct technical support (which I now see as a major failing). Instead, you have to go through a general customer support person via a website chat app who then relays technical issues to the programmers.
This is hardly ideal.
Initial Response
While initially, Jeff Long (one of Bitty Cash’s co-creators), did respond via the webchat, he claimed that he was able to log into my account as me and that he could find nothing wrong.
I have no proof of that as no screenshots or videos were provided to back up that assertion.
His ultimate position was that “it’s just one of those things and it’s something on your end”.
I am a professional programmer, so I know a bug when I see one. I found his conclusion very unsatisfactory. So I ran a few tests.
First up, I loaded the affected pages in five browsers on 3 different devices:
- in Chrome on Windows 7, Windows 10 and on my Android phone
- in Firefox on Windows 7 and Windows 10
- in Internet Explorer on Windows 7
- in the Microsoft Edge browser on Windows 10
- and in the basic Android internet browser
In every case, I got the same result – neither the Multiply Your Bitcoins nor the Add Your Links pages would load.
So, the problem wasn’t a browser issue or a cookie issue.
I also tried loading the pages on my mobile phone while out and about using different wi-fi networks so page requests would be going through different IP addresses and ISPs. Same result. The pages wouldn’t load.
So it’s not a problem located to a specific IP address or ISP.
Next, I created a new free Bitty Cash account by signing up directly under the company’s web address so that Jeff Long was my referrer.
I tried loading the 2 pages in question, and this is what I saw:

So, a working page! The Add My Links page also loaded and worked correctly.
This further reinforces that this page load issue has nothing to do with browsers, operating systems, IP address or ISPs or it being something peculiar to my setup.
A Further Test
So why does the page work in this free account but not in my upgraded account?
Next I created another free account, this time using my affiliate link (so the free account is referred by me and in my downline). Loading the Multiply Your Bitcoins page in this second free account gave this result:

Yes, the page is broken and clicking the tabs doesn’t work. And it’s another case of a page not fully loading and hanging in my browser.
I contacted some of my downline and asked them if this page was working for them or not.
It wasn’t.
I contacted my referrer to see if the page was working for him. I’ve still to hear back from him.
I also contacted the helpdesk person and asked her to log into my account and tell me what she saw when she loaded this page.
She confirmed that the page was not working for her either.
So what does this show?
- First of all, this isn’t an issue specific to upgraded accounts as both my upgraded and one free account (in the upgraded account downline) have problems loading the page.
- Second, this is not a system-wide issue as the in the second free account, opened under Jeff Long, the page does load correctly.
- Third, this isn’t an issue related to IP addresses, where I live, what ISP is used, what browser is used or what operating system is used.
So What Is The Cause of The Page Load Problem?
So what’s different between Jeff Long’s account and mine that could be causing the page loading problem I see?
I suspect it has something to do with the links pasted in by my referrer, his referrer or someone further up in the upline.
It could be something as simple as someone pasting in some Javascript into a link box instead of a raw http:// style web address. That Javascript would then break the page.
If this is in fact the case, then it’s a huge security hole in the system as an unscrupulous member could inject malware via this route, potentially compromising all members and their information.
I raised the issue of the broken page in the Q&A at one of the webinars last week. Again Jeff said he’d looked at it but there was nothing he could do.
In fact, he didn’t look at this issue at all as far as I can tell beyond that initial look at my account when I first reported the issue.
He expressed surprise at not hearing about the issue in response during the Q&A which makes me wonder if the helpdesk person, who I had contacted and forwarded the result of the above tests to in several conversations, had indeed passed on my findings to the programmers.
At no time did anyone in tech support, if such a thing even exists at Bitty Cash, communicate directly with me, apart from that initial exchange with Jeff Long via the webchat app.
There is no email address to use as a point of contact. All my queries and findings were routed through a non-technical support person and I’ve no idea if the information I provided was actually passed on.
There is no ticketing system to keep track of queries and responses so there’s no way of knowing if anyone technical has actually seen my queries, let alone acted on them.
There is no telephone support either.
There is zero technical support. Period.
Frankly, this level of amateurism and lack of professionalism is unacceptable in this day and age.
What’s even more unacceptable is that as an upgraded (paid) member, the issue I’ve raised has been ignored.
Companies can live or die on their customer support and the reputation it gets.
I think I’m right about there being one or more bad links having being pasted into the system by someone in my upline. It shouldn’t take long to run up the chain of accounts to see in which account the Multiply Your Bitcoins page starts working correctly and then identify the link or links in the account below it that are the problem.
As it stands, neither I nor any of my downline (current and future) can load the Multiply Your Bitcoins page. People in my upline may be similarly affected.
It’s impossible to know if other members, outside of my upline and downline are similarly affected.
This precludes us from being able to earn additional income through our affiliate links and additional recommended programs.
Bitty Cash obviously don’t think that’s an important issue given their lack of action on this issue.
And, given my experience with their non-existent technical support, I can no longer recommend this program to my readers and subscribers.
As a result, I have stopped promoting this program.
I have given Bitty Cash the link to this post so that they have an opportunity to respond to it and put their side of the story.

All the best,
Gary Nugent
