In case you’ve never heard of it, GrooveFunnels is a suite of tools for online marketers.
It includes things like a funnel builder, an autoresponder and many other other business tools.
I covered it in detail in this blog post on another of my sites, so I won’t reiterate that here.
GrooveFunnels was designed to be a competitor to Clickfunnels (which I reviewed here) and to be priced similarly.
Except that GrooveFunnels would provide additional tools that Clickfunnels does not and so would be of better value to marketers.
A basic Clickfunnels account costs $97 per month.
All you get for that is a funnel and membership site builder and you’re limited to building, at most, 20 funnels or 100 pages.
Those limits are easily reached when you start playing around with shared funnels (funnels built by other members who let you clone them), as I’ve found myself, time and time again.
There are no limits imposed on GrooveFunnels members, plus they get access to an autoresponder, so you don’t have to pay extra for a 3rd -party service like Aweber or GetResponse if you don’t want to.
You can open a free account with GrooveFunnels which allows you to build 3 funnels.
There are other restrictions on what you can do with the free account too, but it will give you an idea of what GrooveFunnels is capable of.
Currently, there’s a Lifetime Membership offer for GrooveFunnels (it’s the only way to get a non-free account).
That Lifetime Membership costs $1,397.
For that, you get full unrestricted access to all the current tools, free updates for life and free access to new tools that are added to GrooveFunnels.
GrooveFunnels’ price might seem like a lot, but compare it with Clickfunnels‘ pricing…
A year of Clickfunnels’ Basic account is $1,164 if you pay monthly, or $997 if you pay annually.
But you have to pay that subscription fee year after year.
If you want access to Clickfunnels’ full suite of tools and no cap on the number of funnels or pages you can create, then you have to pay $297 per month, or $3,564 per year.
GrooveFunnels’ $1,397 price doesn’t look so expensive now, does it?
The Latest News
Coming up on September 1st, 2021: The price for the Groovefunels Lifetime Membership will be increased (it’s currently $1,397) but I don’t know by how much yet.
November 26th – December 15th: This is the absolute LAST chance to get the Groove Lifetime Membership deal. After that, it’s done. Groove will be switching over to monthly payments only for new customers after this.
Another Competitor
If you’re looking for marketing tools that are all housed under one roof, rather than having to pay separately for a selection of individual tools, Builderall is another suite to look at.
It’s a more mature tool suite than GrooveFunnels and has been around since 2017 (GrooveFunnels only launched in 2020).
Some tools in GrooveFunnels are still in development whereas all tools in Builderall are available right now.
Builderall is also in it’s 4th generation with its 5th edition due to be released in a few months.
Builderall prices range from $29.90 per month to $99.90 per month, depending on what you want from it:
The Builder Plan is best for email marketers and doesn’t include the funnel builder and some of the other tools in the suite.
The Premium Plan provides unlimited access to all the tools but does not provide access to the library of 400+ funnel, chatbot, website, etc templates.
The Funnel Club Plan gets you everything including the over 400 templates plus access to the new templates that are added each week.
Bear in mind that the first payment for the Funnel Club Plan is $199 but all subsequent monthly payments are $99.90.
Closing Comments
In the interests of transparency, I am subscribed to a Basic Clickfunnels Plan and to the Builderall Funnel Club Plan.
I do not have a GrooveFunnels account.
At the time GrooveFunnels launched, only a small number of its tools were available to use and I needed a service that provided more tools (well, more tools than Clickfunnels provided).
I wasn’t prepared to pay $297 per month for Clickfunnels’ “Platinum” account so I opted to open a Builderall account instead.
By the time that GrooveFunnels did have all the tools I was looking for (this would have been around September 2020), I already had both a Clickfunnels and Builderall account and I didn’t want to spend money on another funnel builder or business suite that I didn’t need.
If you’re interested in how I built my first sales funnel with Builderall, check out this post.
All the best,
Gary Nugent
