The Goal of Passive Income

The Holy Grail of affiliate marketing is to earn passive income – a steady stream of money that rolls into your PayPal and bank accounts. An income stream that you can predict and rely upon, month after month. A source of moolah that you don’t have to actually work for.

That is the dream, isn’t it?

How Affiliate Marketers Actually Work

Most affiliate marketers are lazy. I know I am. We …

Getting A Refund From GoDaddy Was Not As Easy As I Expected!

Remember how I mentioned in an earlier post that GoDaddy wasn’t the best option if you’re looking to buy a domain name and that GoDaddy Support wasn’t the best?

I mentioned in that post that I was in the process of transferring one GoDaddy domain after another to Dynadot, my preferred domain registrar.

I also mentioned that despite having cancelled my GoDaddy Domain Discount Club (DDC) subscription, I was still being charged the discount price of €8.43 for domain …

My recommendation would be WordPress. Being the most popular blogging platform and CMS on the planet means that it also has the biggest number of addons available.

There are tens of thousands of themes – free and paid – to make your blog look the way you want. And there are tens of thousands (possibly hundreds of thousands) of plugins that allow you to extend the functionality of your blog.

The downside if it being the most popular platform is …

Internet Marketing

This (the title of this post) is a question I was asked recently. Here’s my answer…

Internet marketing is the broad term that describes selling goods and services online.

Affiliate marketing – probably the most common type of internet marketing – is a subset of this.

Here, you only sell other people’s goods and services (not your own) but for a commission. Affiliate marketers are effectively online salesmen.

So, is there a future in internet marketing?

In a word: Absolutely

Affiliate Marketing

While it’s a good idea to have your own website when doing affiliate marketing, you don’t need to have one. But being a blogger means that you do have a website where you post regularly. That may be one you own, or it may be a site on one of the free blogging platforms out there. If you’re not posting content regularly somewhere, then you’re not really a blogger.

That said, you can always just join affiliate programs and promote …

How Affiliate Marketing Works

Spencer Mecham made the video below about how to get started in affiliate marketing.

Why should you listen to him instead of anyone else?

Because he’s Clickfunnels®’ #1 affiliate.

Spencer is a Dream Car winner in the Clickfunnels® affiliate program. That means he’s recruited at least 100 people into Clickfunnels®. And for that, he’s given $500 per month – in addition to his regular commissions – to cover payments on the car of his choice.

With that number of …

Is The FunnelsKit Sales Funnel Builder Service Worth Getting?

As you may know, I’ve been talking about Clickfunnels® a fair bit this year. It’s the best known of the sales funnel builder services. But it is expensive.

A basic Clickfunnels® plan is $97/mth. And the Enterprise level plan (with all the bells and whistles) is a whopping $297/mth.

I’m on the basic plan myself. If you want to know more about that plan, I reviewed Clickfunnels® in this post.

Given Clickfunnels®’ expense, I’ve been getting a lot of …

GoDaddy Domain Offer

GoDaddy used to be my domain registrar of choice. But that was back in the days when they were cheap and offered discount coupons.

Why GoDaddy Sucks

Their coupons used to work worldwide. Then they started geo-locking coupons to territories so, for example, the $0.99 new domain coupon wouldn’t work in Europe. And so on.

Prices are also forced into your local currency with no option of paying in the currency of your choice, unless you use a VPN.

Then …

Content Samurai Vs Instant Video Wizard

UPDATE: I’ve updated this comparison review to reflect changes in both Instant Video Wizard and Content Samurai since the post was first written. Both online video creation apps have dropped significantly in price since then and Instant Video Wizard has had a user interface re-design, now reflected in the screenshots below.

There’s a new video creation tool on the block called Instant Video Wizard which has just gone on sale today. Instant Video Wizard has now been available for …
