The Best Affiliate Marketing Training Courses To Look At

I originally published this post here on my other website – EmailListBuildingTechniques.com, which (obviously ) deals with email marketing and list building – and it seemed like a good idea to repost it here since it’s all about affiliate marketing training courses.

This isn’t an exhaustive list of courses as I don’t know every one in existence. It is, however, a list of of courses I have used myself, so I can vouch for them.

Bear in mind that not all courses, however good they are, will suit all people. Teaching styles vary. Some people prefer to absorb information by reading, others through watching video.

What course will suit you will also depend on the affiliate marketing model you prefer to work with:

Are you a blogger?
Are you more interested in direct marketing with sales funnels?
Is you goal to get involved with email marketing?
And so on.

Also, keep in mind that affiliate marketing is not a get-rich quick scheme.

It is not a solution to your current financial problems (if this is where you’re at).

It takes time to build a business online and it will require commitment, focus, time and work.

All the people behind the courses on this page truly value their customers and will go out of their way to assist them when necessary.

I can’t stress how unusual this is in the world of affiliate marketing/internet marketing.

So many “gurus” are happy to take your money but leave you high and dry when you need help.

They’ll blame you when you don’t get the results you expect rather than looking at their own training and fixing things that aren’t clear.

You’ll also notice that a number of these courses relate to promoting Clickfunnels® (if you don’t know what it is, I have more information on it here).

That’s because it’s one of the best programs you can promote online.

These are my reasons for becoming an affiliate.

None of the courses here are less than a few hundred dollars.

That’s because quality training does not come cheap.

Those low-priced courses you see advertised typically teach one strategy or a loophole to take advantage of, that will eventually be closed.

A $47 or $97 course is not going to teach you lasting strategies and methodologies.

They’re made for a quick sale and then the creator moves onto their next product.

These courses aren’t kept up to date with changing marketing trends either.

Their sales pages do a great job of convincing you that you can make money online by clicking a few buttons and that the internet is a magic ATM that spits out money because you now know the secret code.

Making money online is not line that at all.

A good education is expensive (ask any College student).

So here are my list of the best affiliate marketing training course recommendations, in no particular order…

1. Zach Crawford’s Top Earner Transformation Coaching Program

Zach Crawford is a 7-figure earner who made his money promoting other programs before becoming a Clickfunnels® affiliate himself.

He’s a marketer who puts his customers and students front and center.

He bends over backwards to help them in any way he can.

To illustrate this, back in late May (2019), Russell Brunson (who created Clickfunnels®) changed the affiliate policy for his service.

Too many affiliates were promoting Clickfunnels® as a passive income opportunity rather than promoting it as a business service.

Zach had created a course called Top Earner Mentor (which is where I came across him) that promoted Clickfunnels® in this manner.

Following the policy change, Zach took his course down and rebuilt it and redesigned it as a more general affiliate marketing training course.

Clickfunnels® offer to pay for their affiliates’ dream car to the tune of $500 per month if they refer 100 paying subscribers to the tool.

They double that bonus payout to $1,000 per month if an affiliate maintains 200 paying subscribers.

Spencer brought in over 1,800 referrals.

So he’s won multiple dream cars.

These commissions are in addition to the regular commission he’s earning as an affiliate.

Clickfunnels® is a subscription-based service, so affiliates earn recurring commissions month after month.

In his course, Spencer teaches you the exact methods he used to become the top affiliate.

Like Zach’s, Spencer’s course also focuses on building an online business with sales funnels, list building and email marketing.

3. The Partner With Anthony Program

Anthony Morrison has been an internet marketer since the mid-2000s.

He’s also the author of the best-selling “The Hidden Millionaire: Twelve Principles to Uncovering the Entrepreneur in You” book (you get a free copy if you join his coaching program).

He’s also been featured on the likes of CNN and is is one of the most watched Internet Marketing trainers in the world.

He has impacted the lives of millions of people around the world through his best selling books, digital courses and his live weekly training – “The Success Connection”.

In his this coaching program, he teaches how to do affiliate marketing the right way with a focus on creating sales funnels, list building and email marketing (as do many of the courses on this page).

His program takes the form of 30 daily lessons that you have to complete before the next one unlocks.

It’s the lowest-priced of the courses listed on this page but that’s because part of what Anthony teaches is how you can sell his products as an affiliate.

So he makes money when you do.

Created by David Sharpe, this delivers online business education simply and without all the fluff.

Sharpe is a 9-year digital marketing veteran who has founded 3 multi-million dollar companies from scratch, generated over a quarter-billion (yes, that’s a “b” not an “m”) in sales online and educated over 500,000 entrepreneurs worldwide.

He’s been featured on Entrepreneur.com and was quoted by Forbes as “one of the masterminds of this industry.”

You can get started for free with their 15-day Challenge which is an introduction to affiliate marketing.

You need to pay for other courses available on the platform though they’re not expensive.

5. Wealthy Affiliate

This is THE course on doing affiliate marketing with blogging.

It’s been around for over 10 years and has been constantly updated during that time.

It offers the most comprehensive training you will find anywhere on all aspects of affiliate marketing from creating blogs to monetizing your content, from SEO strategies and backlinking strategies to rank your sites highly in the search engines to how to build a list and be successful at email marketing.

Training materials are kept up to date to keep pace with the rapidly changing online world.

And new training is regularly added.

There are now over 1,000,000 members in Wealthy Affiliate, so that speaks volumes in terms of the quality of the course.

Bad courses lose members over time and Wealthy Affiliate has been growing its membership base over the years.

Members are part of a thriving community who help each other out and offer their own expertise, advice and strategies in a friendly atmosphere.

We’re all there to support each other, not to tear each other down.

6. Affilorama

Affilorama is the brainchild of Mark Ling who has been known in internet marketing circles for many years now.

This is another excellent course that shows you how to make money online by building websites and doing affiliate marketing through them.

At the core of Affilorama is Affiloblueprint, a 12-module course that starts off by putting your brain into the right mindset and then progressing through teaching you market analysis, how to do keyword research, how to create content, how to build your website, on and off-page SEO and link building.

Building a site is one thing, but every webmaster needs to know how to promote and drive traffic to their site if they want to make money from it.

Affiloblueprint has that covered and teaches you how to build mailing lists and newsletters before guiding you through the minefield of Pay Per Click advertising (used to promote your sites).

The Affilotools section lets you track how your sites are doing.

These tools are currently in Beta mode and are free to use.

The third section of Affilorama – AffilioJetpack – is for those who want a jump-start on building their online website empire.

This is an optional section which provides everything you need to build sites in 18 popular niches.

You get a year-long email series per site to plug into your autoresponder, three reports and three ebooks to give away (e.g. as enticements when list building), the premium AffilioTheme WordPress theme, 12 months of webhosting, the sites built for you and research and keywords for each of the sites.

You can start out in Affilorama as a free member, get the Affiliate Marketing Quick-Start Guide, the Downloadable Roadmap to Success and 120 video lessons.

After that, the next stage – the Affiloblueprint course itself – is something you have to pay for.

This is another course well worth considering, especially if your budget doesn’t stretch to cover Wealthy Affiliate fees.

7. Virtual Entrepreneurs Association

This is a community platform that provides business owners with discounts, resources, and world-class education to help them on their entrepreneurial mission.

Inside VEA you will find a 52-week, customized business training series.

If you’re a newbie to running a virtual business, this training course will take you from zero to sixty in no time flat.

If you’ve already started your entrepreneurial journey, the training will help take your business to the next level.

8. Sarah Staar’s List Building Course

Sarah Staar is the UK’s most successful female affiliate marketer and she’s certainly among the top marketers overall there.

She built her business by combining YouTube and email marketing.

She does some free training videos on YouTube but mostly creates video ads for display before other people’s videos.

She then drives the traffic from these to her optin pages and builds list that she can sent emails to time and again.

Her list building course teaches you how to quickly start building your own email list and scaling it up pretty fast.

This training starts off with a free web class that introduces you to the power of list building and email marketing in creating a long-term, sustainable income, and the basics of list building.

She also offers a variety of lower-priced affiliate marketing courses.

9. Sarah Staar’s YouTube Marketing Course

This is Sarah’s course on marketing with YouTube, from creating and publishing videos to build your business to creating video ads and where and how to place them.

It’s not commonly known that advertising on YouTube is actually cheaper than advertising on Facebook Ads.

While you can pick your target audience with Facebook, you are still going out and trying to find leads and customers directly.

With YouTube, your customers are finding you through YouTube search or via your video ads.

So with Facebook, you’re trying to entice cold leads to click on your links. With YouTube, you already have a warm audience because they’re interested in what you have to say or offer.

If there’s another course out there that teaches this kind of information about YouTube, I’m not aware of it.

10. Sarah Staar’s Outsourcing Course

One problem marketers face is the amount of time they have to spend on menial, daily tasks as their business grows.

Posting links on social media, sending out emails, driving traffic, administering a Facebook group, writing content for a blog, answering comments on your blog posts, making videos, answering emails, doing customer support and so on all eat up your time.

If there are certain aspects of your business that you want to spend more time on but finding that time is difficult, maybe it’s time to outsource some of the work you’d rather not deal with every day.

Sarah Staar’s outsourcing course teaches you how to find outsourcers, how to create workflows for them and how to monitor the quality of their work so that you can focus on other aspects of your business.

This course starts of with a free web class that looks at what outsourcing can offer any online business.

11. The One Funnel Away Challenge

This is a course offered by Clickfunnels® itself.

You can sign up directly at the link above, or you can sign up to my mmailing list here where you’ll get additional free training and resources if you want a quality free primer on affiliate marketing.

If you then sign up for the One Funnel Away (OFA) Challenge, you’ll get additional bonuses worth over $11,000 that you can leverage yourself.

OFA teaches students how to create a sales funnel from scratch.

The course is more focused on product creators building funnels to promote their own goods than funnels used by affiliate marketers, but the fundamentals are the same for both.

It also teaches fundamental marketing principles and sales techniques that anyone can put into action.

Clickfunnels® is used for building the funnels, so a paid account will be required to complete the course.

There is a 14-day free trial period for the service but the course itself runs over 30 days.

You won’t need to open a trial account until the latter half of the course, so you’re not forced into paying for Clickfunnels® to complete the course.

The first couple of weeks of training is about mindset and theory, so you could get the practical elements of the course done within 14 days if do the daily work.

At the end, you can then decide if you want to take up a paid account.

If you don’t stick with the coursework for the 30 days, or it takes you longer than that to complete, then it’s pretty certain you’ll need to switch to using a paid account.

The course is taught by Clickfunnels® founder, Russell Brunson and two of his top trainers.

12. Amazon 101 Course

This is a beginner’s course is for people who are interested in becoming Amazon Sellers (not to be confused with being an Amazon affiliate).

Affiliate marketing isn’t for everyone and if you prefer retail marketing, this course gives you that option.

It’s a course that will get you started selling on Amazon, starting off with selling things around your house or in your attic that you no longer need or want.

The starting budget for selling is very low, so pretty much anyone can dip a toe in the Amazon waters here.

The course comes from Jim Cockrum who’s an established expert in selling on Amazon.

13. The Proven Amazon Course

Taking things up several notches, this course – also created by Jim Cockrum – teaches you how to become a professional Amazon seller.

It looks at where you can source products to sell – not low-grade products from the likes of AliExpress but quality products created in the USA and elsewhere.

The course teaches the Amazon FBA (Fulfillment By Amazon) where you have products shipped to your local Amazon warehouse and then Amazon looks after the shipping of your items to customers.

People tend to prefer buying products that are shipped directly by Amazon.

It reduces the number of packages that are sent out as well as reducing shipping fees.

This course has been around for almost 10 years.

And, like the other quality courses here, is constantly updated with new training and strategies as the marketing world changes.

One of the benefits of owning the course is that other courses that are sold separately are added into your membership area for free.
